JOHN L. SHAW (MCC)
John Shaw was fortunate to be able to turn his favorite pastime
into a career---travel, especially cruising. He had been helping
friends and planning trips for organizations for years and in
1996 had the opportunity to make a career change. He became a
full time travel agent specializing in cruises and leisure travel.
He is a CLIA (Cruise Line International Association) certified
Master Cruise Counsellor (MCC). To become accredited you must
pass 6 tests, attend a 3-day seminar, do 20 ship inspections and
take 5 cruises of various lengths. He has also completed a "Destination
Mexico" seminar, "Hawaii Travel Academy", and a "Sandals Resort"
class. He is also a certified Small Ship Expert. Small ships are
vessels that carry less than 200 passengers. John is also very
knowledgeable about Handicap Travel.
His goal is to provide you with thorough and reliable travel
service. To John, service is more than just booking a cruise or
vacation. His integrity and knowledge help guide you to determine
the right trip for you.

John has also traveled to Cancun, Cozumel, Puerto Vallarta,
Cayman Islands and most of the Caribbean Islands. He has been
to Hawaii 3 times in the recent past visiting all of the major
islands. He has sailed to Alaska the last 2 years and can assist
you on some of the many choices you will need to make on your
trip.
CAROL SHAW (MCC)
Carol is John's wife of 14 years and he introduced her to cruising
on their honeymoon. They travel as often as possible and she shares
his love of cruising. She is also a CLIA certified Master Cruise
Counsellor, but prefers to spend her time in the background updating
this web site, handling the correspondence, editing and designing
flyers, learning the bookkeeping system and taking care of other
office matters. She has been on all of the ships that John has
been on so we won't list them again. Carol also has attended the
Hawaii Travel Academy and intends to participate in many other
certification programs.

of classroom training, cruise experience, ship inspections,
