(Full Day) For history buffs, this is the tour for you. On this

Built on a complex system of terraces, Quiahuixtlan (meaning "the
place of rain") rises up on top of Bernal Hill. From this site
you will have a magnificent view of the Gulf of Mexico and specifically
the cove where it is believed the Spaniards found refuge for their
ships in 1519. You will then head on to Cempoala, a very important
archeological site and also where Cortes managed to form a relationship
that eventually led to the downfall of Emperor Montezuma. Your
final stop will be Antigua, the original site of the city of Veracruz.
Here you will see what is believed to be the oldest Catholic Chapel
in the Americas and the famous "Cortes House" before returning
to the ship. Please note that your visit to Quiahuixtlan involves
an up-hill walk. Don't forget bug spray, sunscreen and a camera!
Be sure to eat lunch before you go.
